Abbeygold Ventures LLC v. Abbey Gold Corp., [2019] O.J. No. 6211
Abbeygold Ventures LLC commenced proceedings in Ontario to recognize and enforce a February 25, 2019 judgment of the Supreme Court of the County of Erie in the State of New York (“New York Judgment”). The New York Judgment ordered Abbey Gold Corp. to pay $3,562,778.22 USD plus 9% interest per year in post-judgment interest.
On November 8, 2019, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice made an order recognizing and enforcing the New York Judgment.
